Stepping Up Blues Series

Welcome to the "Stepping Up Blues Series" –  an engaging series of mini workshops in 2024 designed to take your Blues dancing to new heights!

Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just starting, this event promises an enriching experience focused on technique, style, musicality, and partner connection.

* Note: You must have attended at least 4 drop-in classes to attend this workshop.

February Session

Marta & Seán will be guiding our very 1^st session in this series.

Join us for an afternoon focused on enhancing partner connection. Explore the art of expressive movements, characterised by intentional lag and isolations, allowing you to feel the music in your bones!  We’ll also be exploring Latin Blues rhythms and moves to round off our first Stepping Up Blues Series. 

After the classes, we invite you to stay for a 30-minute practice session. This is an opportunity to reinforce what you've learned, ask questions, and practice with different partners. Marta & Seán will be on hand, providing personalised feedback and guidance to ensure that you leave the session with increased confidence and a solid understanding of all the concepts and techniques covered in the classes.

• 3:00pm to 5:30pm - Classes (with 15min break)
• 5:30pm to 6:00pm - Practice Session

No registration needed! Just show up and pay at the door to embark on a journey of improvement and progression in blues dancing. See you there for some FUN!
