Groovin' at the Duck - Blues & Swing Edition

Save the Date! On Saturday 15 August, Groovin' at the Duck is back.

For this one, we'll be hosting a special Blues & Swing edition to share the dance floor with the rest of the swing scene. 🕺🎺

Join us for a relaxed evening of social dancing with great music from our DJs. It’s the perfect chance to hit the floor, enjoy the music, and hang out with the dance community in a friendly, welcoming space.

What kind of music will be playing?

Our DJs will be playing blues, but we’ll be focusing on blues styles that work really well for swing dancing too, such as swing blues, jump blues, jazz blues, early R&B... So it’s not a 50/50 split between blues and swing music. The idea is to have music that both blues and swing dancers can enjoy and dance to at the same time, rather than taking turns on the dance floor. 💙
