Know the band
Susan Tomelty & Band
Susan Tomelty, one of the finest singers to come out of Northern Ireland, hails from a well known theatrical and musical family.
Her passion is for great songs, Rhythm & Blues, Country Blues, Gospel Blues, Soul and Funk. In the past, she was the support for Van Morrison, and sang for Nelson Mandela in Glasgow.
Susan’s influences are stellar (we just had to list them)! They include: Howlin’ Wolf, B.B. King, Freddie King, Big Mama Thornton, Albert King, KoKo Taylor, Muddy Waters, John Mayall & his Bluesbreakers, Bonnie Riatt, Ruthie Foster, Bobby Bland, Red Peters, Aretha Franklin, Susan Tedeschi, Jon Cleary and many, many more… We can't wait to have her and the band play for our anniversary!
